This small cap Canadian company is displaying some interesting signs on both its long term and short term charts. On the long end, you can clearly see the price pop last week, but with little follow through to stay at its high, which doesn’t bode well for the stock. On the other hand, the MACD is looking for a positive cross over in the coming week or so, which is extremely positive, and could cause the stock to yield impressive gains. On the short end of things, the MACD is coming down here, and shows the massive selling after a 40% gain in the stock, but also shows the stock closing well off of its lows of the day, and also shows support at its 50 day moving average, which is another positive. Also note the MACD turning down here. Overall, a lot of mixed signals on the short end and the long end, so caution is advised.

Bottom line, the long term MACD is the indicator of choice, and suggests a positive moving coming up, and the short term volatility should be used to take advantage of a short term consolidation phase, albeit, a small position until the stock confirms movement in the upward direction.
